Congratulations to the students pictured below for displaying our WORTHY characteristics.

Students in Ms. C. Wilson's class were analyzing the differences between sexual and asexual reproduction. To organize their notes on each, students were asked to complete a top down topic web. As you see below, the top down topic web allowed students to see the difference between each type of asexual reproduction as well as several examples.

Mr. Dwyer's 7th grade Art students are busy working on transferring images from 2D to into 3D. As you can see below, students started by drawing several possible fish they wanted to turn into 3 dimensional objects. Then they drew and cutout their fish on larger, stronger paper. Once their fish was cutout, the transformation began; students taped their fish almost all the way around, leaving only a small hole at the mouth. Once their tape job was complete, they stuffed their fish with newspaper to turn it into 3D. Finally, so that they had a blank canvas to work with, they painted their fish white and will work on adding detail in their final step of the project.

This parent-student handbook was developed to answer many of the commonly asked questions that students and parents may have during the school year. The handbook contains information about student rights and responsibilities. Each student is responsible for

knowing and understanding its contents. It can be a valuable reference during the school year and a means to avoid confusion and misunderstanding when questions arise.
