Arrival and Dismissal

Thank you for your flexibility as we streamline our drop off and pick up processes. To ensure we can get everyone quickly in and out please help us by doing the following:

  • If you utilize the drop off/pick up area, pull all the way forward before stopping for your student to enter/exit.
  • Please use the pick up/drop off line when possible versus parking and walking your student in.
  • If you need to come into the building, please be sure to park your car in a designated parking space.
  • Wait for the crossing guards direction before crossing the street.
  • Be sure to keep the crosswalk clear for pedestrians.

We are also partnering with SPD to determine if there are ways to improve the efficiency of our drop off and pick up procedures. We appreciate your partnership and flexibility so we can ensure a timely and safe arrival and dismissal for everyone.

Weekend Food Backpack Program

Middleton has teamed up with a local food pantry to provide families in need with weekend food support. Participating students receive a bag filled with extra food and snacks on Fridays. To participate in this program, please email our school counselor, Alyssa Olson, at AOlson@sherwood.k12.or.us or call at 503-825-5304. Please include your student's name and the number of children in the family (regardless of age). This only information shared with the Backpack Program is the number of children in the home.

Fun Run

The Middleton Fun Run will take place on Friday, September 23 and includes our PreK-5th grade students. This is our largest fundraiser of the year and we appreciate your support!

After the Fun Run each student will receive a certificate with their total number of laps. The class that runs the most total laps in each grade will receive a trophy to display in their classroom.

Families are invited to attend and cheer for their student. We will have several check in tables down on the field. Parents should visit one of the tables to sign in and receive a visitor sticker. We are looking forward to this fun event!

Our PAC is looking for volunteers for the Fun Run. If you are interesting in helping out, please sign up using this link.

  • Proof of vaccination are submitted to the Middleton front office in person or via email (mwunnicke@sherwood.k12.or.us). This can be done on the first day of volunteering.
