Week of August 23rd PD

Thanks for all your hard in the first week, this is a journey that we are on and I know I am learning something new each day. Please make sure you review the August 24 PD list and sign up those workshops required or for workshops that will enhance your instruction for you and your students. It looks like all specialist have an all day required training.

Class lists

Karen and I will be revising class lists this weekend. For the past two weeks we have had new students join Algonkian and some families deciding to homeschool. This has a caused some teachers to have more students than other teachers in their grade level. Karen and I will be moving students to get close to equal amounts in each class. Peggy will update your class list on Monday, so by Tuesday you should be able to see your updated class list.

PTA information

As mentioned on Friday there are two opportunities to show support for our PTA. The Algonkian PTA does so many things for our school and supports us throughout the year.

Thursday or Friday -Share Day with Schoology

On Thursday or Friday we will put you into google meet groups so you can share what you have done so far with schoology. No requirements just want to share ideas with our peers and learn from each others.

Technology Thursday

This Thursday is an All County Technology PD day. We will have more information during the week and Pauline will share on Tuesday what workshops are required for Thursday.
