Chief Financial Officer, Caty Roland, discussed the 2023 Proposed Tax Levy. The Board approved the Proposed Tax Levy at tonight's meeting. Following Board approval, the levy will be noticed publicly and then brought back to the Board for a public hearing and final approval in December.

Q: Is there any indication of what new growth could look like in the next year?

A: The estimate from the County Clerk's office for new properties is about $8 million. Six to ten million is average for Urbana.

12.3 School Maintenance Grant - APPROVED

12.4 Resolution declaring the intent of the Board to issue not to exceed $3,500,000 working

cash fund bonds for the purpose of increasing the working cash fund of the District, and

directing that notice of such intention be published in the manner provided by law APPROVED

12.5 Resolution authorizing the issuance of not to exceed $23,000,000 General Obligation

School Bonds (Alternate Revenue Source) for the purpose of altering, repairing and

equipping school buildings and facilities and directing that notice of the intention to

issue such bonds be published in the manner provided by law. (6th grade center) APPROVED
