Students, Parents, and Caregivers,

It is hard to believe we are 4 weeks into our Learn at Home journey - our students, families, and staff members are all to be celebrated for their great work in helping to make this a success! A special shoutout to all of our Creston students who emailed or sent photos/videos to your teachers for Appreciation Week - our teachers are so valuable to us, and we know they appreciated their students reaching out! A huge thank you to our students and families who worked so hard to get course requests in for our 5th, 6th, and 7th graders this past week! Well done!

Registration for Kindergarten and Preschool in Warren Township began on Monday, May 4th and is still available online. Children must be age 5 on or before September 1 to register for Kindergarten and age 3 on or before September 1 to register for Preschool. If you are experiencing any issues with online registration, please contact us at 317-608-0545 or email msdwarrenelearning@warren.k12.in.us. We will be happy to assist you in registering your child online.

Parent technology support is here! We are excited to offer opportunities for you to learn the technology utilized by your student(s) so that you can better support them in their Learn at Home/E-Learning Experience. We are offering support with Zoom, Google, Seesaw, and the Canvas Parent App. Register to join live learning Sessions with Q&A. Pre-recorded tutorials are also available. See below for more details.

Food Distribution continues on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11am - 1pm at various district sites, including Creston and Knoll Ridge Apartments. Wednesday evening Food Distribution takes place from 5:30 - 7:00 pm at Lakeside and Moorhead.

A few reminders:

• All teachers are available for virtual office hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday each week from 9am - 10am. Students/caregivers can also call or email teachers any time, and can expect timely responses during the hours of 9am - 4pm every weekday.

• All students have Virtual Community Time (Core Connect class) on Tuesday and Thursday from 9-10 a.m.

• If your student is in need of a Chromebook, or if they have a school-issued device and it is in need of repair, you can vsit Warren Central HS, at Door 70, between 11am and 1pm any weekday (Monday - Friday).

• If you have questions or feedback related to online learning and the Learn at Home lessons, please use our eLearning hotline phone number 317-608-0545 or email MSDWarrenELEARNING@warren.k12.in.us.

Please continue to read our newsletter each week - this is our best way to communicate updates with our students and families! We will continue sharing pertinent information through the end of the school year. We are missing our usual school routine and seeing our students every day. Registration for Kindergarten and Preschool in Warren Township begins on Monday, May 4th. There will be a live webinar May 4th at 7pm. Principals and teachers will present information about Kindergarten and Preschool programs in Warren, demonstrate information about how to register online, and conduct a live question & answer session with audience members. Children must be age 5 on or before September 1 to register for Kindergarten and age 3 on or before September 1 to register for Preschool.
