Three Day School Week this Week: Remember we only have school Tuesday through Thursday, this week. There is no school Friday, February 17, 2023. Enjoy your four-day weekend!

Food Drive: Elementary students are encouraged to help in the food drive the Freshmen class and Top Deck Gaming Club are sponsoring at Crane High School. Students can bring in non-perishable food items and place them in the red barrel in the front foyer each day or donate money to go towards Ozark Food Harvest!

Valentine's Parties: Valentine's Parties will be Tuesday, February 14 at 2:30 PM for each classroom besides our three-year-old preschool class, which will have their party at 10:00 AM. Don't forget to the send in any supplies you signed up to bring, along with Valentine's for your child to exchange with every student in his/her class.

Balloons and Flowers: Don't forget if your student rides a school bus from school, he/she will not be allowed to bring balloons or glass flower vases on the bus. If your child receives these items at school (any day, but certainly on Valentine's Day), he/she will not be able to take them home on the bus so you will need to make other arrangements.

Title I Math Games Coming Home: On Thursday, students will be coming home with a small white bag with a deck of cards and a sheet of paper with directions to some fun games for you to play with your child. These games will support math skills. Directions are written out for each game and there is a QR code for each game you can scan with your cell phone's camera to view a video showing you how to play the game. We strongly encourage families to try these games with their children! Not only will math skills be practiced, but you and your child can spend good, quality time together!

CSCO Pirate Showcase Forms: CSCO is going to be hosting a Pirate Showcase where students and family members can show off their talents! The Pirate Showcase will take place on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 7 PM. If you or your child would like to perform during this event, please fill out the form that will be coming home this week and return it by March 3, 2023. We can't wait to see all the talents so many of our students' possess!

Concession Stand Help Needed: CSCO needs help with the concession stands for the Jr. High Volleyball season. If you would like to help out the organization which helps our kids, please sign up here for a night in the concession stand!

Student Absences: If your child is absent from school for any reason, please call the office to let us know. The phone number is 417-723-5300 ext. 902.

Breakfast: If your child is a parent drop off each morning and wants to eat breakfast at school, he/she needs to be dropped off no later than 7:40 AM. We have had a few come after 7:45 and they do not have time to get to breakfast before being counted tardy for class.

SNAP and Medicaid Application Assistance: If you would like assistance in applying for SNAP or Medicaid, then please call the Elementary office so we can help you set up an appointment with someone who can help you complete the process. If you would like us to send home applications for you to complete on your own, we can do that too. Just give us call and let us know how we can help! 417-723-5300 ext 902.
