New Mascot!

We are excited to continue with our process of determining Johnson's new mascot! Here are the steps we have already taken:

1. Staff were provided with a variety of mascot ideas and shared their own as well.

2. Staff voted from these combined lists.

3. Staff voted one more time to determine the top 4 mascot choices.

What are our next steps?

1. Parents share their thoughts about the four final mascot choices.

2. The four mascot choices are narrowed to two based upon parent feedback.

2. Students learn about our final two mascot choices in class

3. Students make the final decision

4. Mascot is revealed to the whole school during assembly

It's now the time for PARENTS to give their feedback!

Extra Clothes Needed

We are in need of the following items for our health room:

-Large girls shirts

-Med boys pants

-Med boys underwear

Breakfast

Please remind your student that if they would like to eat breakfast, they need to go directly to the cafeteria upon arrival instead of the playground.

Drop Off and Pick Up Information

Drop Off Route (AM):

Please pull all the way forward, as indicated on the map (Drop Off Zone). This will get as many cars in the drop off lane as possible.
Cell phone use is NOT PERMITTED while in the parking lot for safety reasons.
Please DO NOT leave your car unattended or get out to drop off your student in the drop off lane.
The lower loop is NOT a general drop off area and will only be utilized by SSN families (as indicated on the map).
Students should exit the vehicle on the right hand side only for safety reasons.

Pick Up Route (PM):

Please pull all the way forward, as indicated on the map (yellow arrows) for your child’s grade level (Pick Up Zone). This will get as many cars in the pick up lane as possible. Older students will wait with their younger siblings.
Cell phone use is NOT PERMITTED while in the parking lot for safety reasons.
Students who are being picked up will stay in the pick up zone for safety reasons and to support the flow of traffic. Please DO NOT pick up your child beyond this point.
There is NO left turn from Johnson after school. Please turn right. Thank you!
