April 22, 2022
Dear Families,
It is hard to believe that we are quickly approaching the end of the year. Where has the time gone? As we continue to work to finish the year strong, please know that we will continue to focus on academics, while sprinkling in celebratory activities for students.
We are welcoming in the warmer weather. Please note the temperature can vary widely throughout the spring months, so students are encouraged to dress in layers to be fully prepared for heading outside for recess.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out via phone or email.
Educationally yours,
Mrs. Sara Leone, Interim Principal

Wharton Updates
PBIS Incentive
Tuesday, student listened to a refresher presentation about our schoolwide behavior expectations. Referral data from the first two weeks of April was shared, and students have been challenged to decrease their referrals. If students as an entire building meet their goal, they will earn the opportunity to sit near their friends during lunch on Friday, April 29th.
MAP Spring Testing
Students will complete their Spring MAP assessments on May 9 & 10. This assessment allows students the opportunity to show how much they have learned this year in ELA and math. Based on their hard work, staff is excited to see the results of the students' commitment to learning this year. It is important for students to arrive on time, and try their best on the assessments.
