UIL District Champs!!!
On January 27th, BMS students traveled to Llano for the district UIL meet. We had many students place in the top three, which led to BMS WINNING the district meet in dominating fashion!!! We are incredibly proud of each and every one of these students and Mrs. Engler for this accomplishment!
Athletic News
The girls played their final game of the year against Florence. With 8th B Team winning their final regular season game of the year. The ladies will conclude their season at the district tournament Saturday in Llano. The boys took on Florence at home last night with BMS coming away with wins in 3 out of 4 games. The boys wrap up their season next on the road against Brady.
Field Testing
On Wednesday, Feb. 7th, we will be conducting STAAR field testing for 6th and 7th grade ELA. Numerous schools across the state are selected each year to assist Texas Education Agency in collecting data to ensure that state assessments are fair and test students knowledge appropriately. I have attached a FAQ page from TEA if you happen to want further information.
Blue Point Alert Solutions
JM Electronics has been diligently installing our new silent panic alarm technology. Students, you may have noticed Police pulls and medical pulls in various locations on campus.
Training sessions for this program will be scheduled in the future. Currently, we are in the installation phase, focusing on checking notifications and making necessary plans.
ATTENTION 8th Graders!
Parents of 8th grade students, there will be a course selection meeting at the High School on Wednesday, February, 7th at 6:00 P.M. in the cafeteria. Attendance is not required, but .There will be information shared about high school and course offerings.

Online Payments
Blanco ISD fans and guests will have a new and more convenient way to buy athletic tickets to events during the 2023–2024 school year thanks to a new partnership with HomeTown Ticketing. The transition to digital ticketing will result in a reliable and simple experience that will allow fans and school staff to more easily and effectively manage all athletic events that require tickets for entry. Tickets for all Blanco ISD athletic events can be purchased through the District’s website or by downloading the HomeTown Fan App. Please see the QR codes in preparation for purchasing your tickets. The HomeTown Fan App will allow you to manage your entire ticketing experience on most iOS or Android mobile devices. The App allows you to purchase and store tickets on your smartphone or other mobile device. Simply search for events by school name, zip code, or event. You can also “favorite” schools to quickly find upcoming events, purchase tickets, and present your digital tickets to be scanned on your way into the event.
