Building Leaders of Tomorrow
From the Principal's Pen....
Patriot Nation,
We wrapped up a great week at Jack, with only one week left before our Winter Break! Our December STEM challenge has seen some very creative entries, and our first annual Polar Express Night was a huge success. Almost every station ran out of supplies because our attendance exceeded our expectations! We hope you enjoyed the opportunity to explore with your Patriot and hopefully take home a few keepsakes as well.
Our Polar Express Read-A-Thon ends on Wednesday. We have exceeded the $20,000 mark, which was rewarded with the fresh haircut live this Friday. We still have a few days left, so keep on logging those minutes and those donations! Our top readers and fundraisers received will be recognized next week!
Please don't forget we have early dismissal on Friday, December 17th. Car riders and walkers will be released at 12:30 and bus routes will run at 1:00.
Thanks again for all of the support and have a great weekend!
Brett Shelby

Annual Title I Information from Meeting
Leader in Me At Home Connection
People who put first things first focus on the important, not just the urgent, act on priorities, plan weekly and act daily. You are putting first things first when you organize your time around the most important things and eliminate the unimportant.
Ways to practice ‘Put First Things First’ at home:Talk with your family about your most important jobs or responsibilities, such as doing homework, making the bed, or taking out the garbage.
Do your chores before being asked.
Do the hardest part of your homework first.
Think of something you’ve been putting off for a long time, like cleaning up your room or pumping up the flat tire on your bike. Go do it right now!
