All incoming kindergarteners and their families are invited to Kindergarten Registration Night, happening April 13, 5-7 P.M. at all elementary schools. This event is an opportunity for families to see the building, speak to staff, ask questions about registration, and provide documents to start the registration process. Keys to Kindergarten is another kindergarten information event happening April 25, 6:30 – 8 P.M. at Little Blue Elementary. Keys to Kindergarten is a free readiness program for all 2023-2024 ISD Kindergarten students with a quick parent session followed by a time for learning essential kindergarten skills. Students were honored for their academic achievements with 8th Grade Awards and McCoy Awards during the 2023 ISD Academic Achievement Awards Ceremony March 30, 2023.

The winners of the 8th Annual ISD Academy Awards were announced April 6, 2023. Students were nominated by staff for their work ethic, academic achievement and participation within the Academy Pathways.
