On Tuesday, August 27th, students may arrive at 8:00 a.m. and proceed to the quads to get their finalized schedules. Class starts at 8:50 a.m.! Parents do not need to check into the office on Tuesday 8/27, but after 8/27 all parents and visitors must check into through the office before entering the campus.

Parent Presentation- On Wednesday we have a guest speaker, Tyler Durman, who will be doing a presentation for our students during the day, our staff after school, and our parents at night. We encourage you to come and listen to Tyler's message. Please see the attached flyer for more details. His presentation starts at 6:30 pm at the Tommy Lasorda Field House.
Schedule Change Requests - Please report concerns to Mrs. Weirich, Counselor (sweirich@pylusd.org). Elective changes will be considered only after the necessary schedule changes are made. Change requests should be submitted by the end of the first week.
Cell Phones - Students are not permitted to use cell phones on campus without teacher permission. If parents need to contact students, please call the main office. To minimize interruptions to learning, remind your students to always silence or turn off their phones during school hours!
Parking Lot Instructions - Please prioritize student safety in and around our parking lots by not using cell phones, driving cautiously and obeying traffic laws.
Visitor check-in system - All PYLUSD schools use the School Access Management system, or “S.A.M.”, will enhance school safety by reading the driver’s license (or other approved form of identification) of visitors while automatically comparing it to California Megan’s Law and similar databases nationwide. Visit www.pylusd.org/SAM/ to learn more, and remember to bring your valid ID to our office if you plan to visit the campus for any reason! Visitors must check both IN and OUT every time they plan to spend time on campus beyond the school’s main office.
