Somehow "Thank You" doesn't seem adequate to say to our new Book Fair Chair, Mary McClurkin, who took the reins late this summer and pulled off such a successful sale. Former Chair Erica Brownlee co-chaired with Mary and was a tremendous asset. Hats off to Mary and Erica and to all who gave their time to make the Fair fun and profitable! The VV Library is already benefiting from the Book Fair--be on the look-out for new titles and added books to some favorite series.

Unending thanks to Caryl Jones and Dr. Rod Wing and their community of connections that came together to give our families an amazing evening dedicated to science. Kids propagated cactus, made candy models of DNA, ate crickets, examined structures of plants and oh so much more! Thanks to all of the teachers, NHS student volunteers and parent volunteers who ran booths, handed out bags, and helped with setup! We couldn't have done it without each of you!
