Thank you to all the friends and families who attended the Bath Tech Open House this week. It was wonderful to see everyone and for our students to show off their amazing workspaces!

Message from Patrick Manuel, Superintendent of RSU 1
As we move into the 22-23 school year I’d like to review the latest expectations regarding health and illness so we can all have as safe a year as possible in our buildings.
RSU 1 will continue to follow the below guidelines around general illness and COVID-19.
If a student or staff member is sick, please do not attend school if any of the following symptoms are present:
Cough
Temperature of 100 degrees or higher until fever free for 24 hrs without medication
Sore Throat
Vomiting/Diarrhea until 24 hrs after last episode
Suspicious Skin Rash
Currently, COVID-19 testing, home testing or other, is recommended for people with symptoms of COVID-19 as soon as possible after symptoms begin. Please report any positive results to your school nurse as soon as possible.
Should you test positive for COVID-19, please follow the below guidance:
To clarify, If you have no symptoms, day ZERO is the day you test positive. If you have symptoms, day ZERO is the day your symptoms begin, even if they develop after you test positive.
During days ZERO through the end of day FIVE of a positive COVID-19 infection, please isolate at home and do not attend school.
Students and staff may return to work/school, wearing a well-fitted mask on days SIX through TEN, if…
You have been fever-free for 24 hours with no fever reducing medication, or
Your symptoms are improving.
If you still have a fever or your other symptoms have not improved, continue to isolate until they improve.
If you would like more information about these procedures, you can refer to the CDC's Isolation and Precautions page which provides these guidelines.
