Next Wednesday, May 4th will be Open House for our 4th and 5th graders. Please see the flyer below for more information.

Join us on Saturday, May 7 for a screening of Sing 2. Tickets are available at Beach Break Entertainment’s website (https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0549A8AF28A5FB6-sing). Choose the option “buy a bingo card”. One bingo card gets one car admission to the show.

A portion of the proceeds - and any donations received as part of the round up option - will go directly to our PTO fund.

Before the show, there will be a special screening of an animated short from a local artist. Several vendors in the Linda Mar shopping center are also offering deals for ticket holders (check your tickets for details).

Thank you for taking the time to complete the Safe Routes to School survey. This year, the survey provides an opportunity to list specific spots along your child's route to school that causes you concern or prevents you from allowing your child(ren) to walk or bike to school. This is valuable feedback that will be shared with decision makers throughout the county who can address infrastructure issues regarding safe walking and biking, and with decision makers in your school community. This survey will take approximately 3 minutes to complete.

Encuesta para padres/tutores sobre las rutas seguras a la escuela

Gracias por tomarse el tiempo de contestar esta encuesta para padres y tutores de parte de Safe Routes to School. Este año la encuesta brinda la oportunidad de señalar lugares específicos a lo largo de la ruta que su hijo(s) toma para llegar a la escuela, que causan preocupación o le impiden permitir que su(s) hijo(s) caminen o vayan en bicicleta a la escuela. Sus comentarios son muy valiosos y se compartirán con los encargados de tomar decisiones en todo el condado que pueden abordar los problemas de infraestructura relacionados con caminar y andar en bicicleta con seguridad y con los encargados de tomar decisiones en su comunidad escolar. PAWS stands for Problem Solver, Always Kind, Willing to Try, and Staying Safe. Kids that are caught doing one of these activities are awarded a PAWS Point. Students get a postcard delivered to their home thanking them for doing a great job. We also have a tower that we fill up with the PAWS Point tickets and when it gets filled up, the entire school will celebrate for everyone's hard work. This week's winners are:

This award is given to students who have shown outstanding participation in their classes. They engage in learning by asking questions being an active participant in conversations and activities in a positive way. Children can only be nominated for this award by their classroom teacher. Winners are given a certificate and a lollipop that is personally delivered to their home. This week’s winners are:
