La Mesa ASB Donation Drive - WHAT A SUCCESS!
Thank you to everyone who supported our ASB donation drive. Whether you sent out emails or donated money, you participated and we are grateful!
We exceeded our goal of $20,000 and raised $over $28,000
We look forward to using this money to make school a positive place for students to be each and every day.
THANK YOU!!!
Important Message about Drop off and Pick up
Recently we have observed unauthorized vehicles entering the the La Mesa Bus loop to drop off and pick up students. Please understand that this loop is intended only for school bus access. We have worked closely with families in identifying those students who require additional assistance and have granted them access within the bus loop. Parents transporting these students have been provided an updated placard/pass granting their vehicle access to this loop to pick up only their child.
Unfortunately, we have exceeded capacity in regards to the number of vehicles we can accept in the bus loop as we need to allow buses to pass through freely. We are at risk of having the bus loop closed to all. We will continue to monitor vehicles entering the loop and redirect those vehicles without a placard/pass.
Please assist us in offering this service to our students in need. Only enter the loop if you have a school issued placard/pass displayed in the front windshield of your vehicle. We will continue to do what we can to make pick up and drop off safe and efficient for all.
Thank you for your support
REMINDER: Please Pull All the Way Forward before Unloading and Loading Passengers

Capturing Kids' Hearts Family Newsletter
This month our theme is Step Up. It takes an incredible amount of courage as a junior high student to step up. The Newsletter below provides you with some tools to support your child in step up, whether this is stepping up to try something new or speaking up for someone else, this is an important skill for kids to develop and junior high is the best time to focus on it.
We have included it in both English and Spanish.
