Message from CNP
As we draw closer to the end of the first semester, CNP would like to ask you to check your child's lunch balance. Students tend to get to a lower balance or even go over as the semester comes to an end. You can check your child's balance on the Parent Portal. The link has also been included below!
Lifelines Suicide Prevention Wrap-up
Our students at Wilson 6th Grade have completed the four sessions of Lifelines Suicide Prevention curriculum! I have been teaching in several of the Explore classes during these sessions and I am so proud of our students. They have taken the subject seriously and have actively participated in all the sessions. I have received many compliments from other teachers on our students, they really have been engaged and retaining information! To wrap up the sessions, each student received a card with prevention resources and information about their trusted adult. Many thanks go out to our prevention team members throughout our district that have been able to help me teach: Jackie, Taylor, Mika, Keeliegh, Cameron, Gabi, and Kaitlyn.
THANK YOU
Mrs. Cross, 6th Grade Counselor
Happy School Psychologists Week!
We are fortunate to have two of the best School Psychologists, Mika and Keeleigh! They were presented a Bru Coffee House gift card by Principal Chris Bilyeu as a thank you for all the wonderful work they do with our students!

Available Resources
As students transition to the 6th Grade Center, we would like to inform our parents of some additional resources that may be helpful throughout the school year.
- The Indian Education program provides free tutoring for all Collinsville students. Our students can ride a bus to Collinsville Middle School on Tuesdays and Thursdays and meet with tutors in the middle school library. The tutoring is from 3:30-4:30 and parents will need to arrange pick up for their student at 4:30, no school transportation is provided for getting students home after tutoring. More information can be obtained by calling 918-371-5779. This service will begin on September 5, 2023.
- We are very excited that students will be able to obtain additional Math support in our Math Lab this year! The lab is open each day during school hours. Students can receive additional support for a particular math lesson, work on basic math skills, or be able to make up math work from being absent. Ms. Julie Struble will be working with the students and will create a schedule for the students to be able to visit her during one of their elective hours. Please call the school office, 918-371-3144, if you have any questions about this resource.
