Students P-K through 12th grade enjoyed time with each other Thursday morning coloring and eating popcorn.

HS Girls Basketball Take 3rd at NJC Holiday Tournament
On Thursday, the Lady Rams defeated the Dayspring Lady Eagles 45 - 30 in the opening round of the tournament. The girls were then matched against the Merino Rams. The Akron girls played hard but were not able to defeat Merino. On Saturday, they played Wiggins and were able to come away with the win to take 3rd place in the tournament.
The Akron Rams won their first round game of the NJC Holiday tournament against Wiggins 47-36. The boys took on the Merino Rams on Friday. They came up short against a good Merino team matching them with Haxtun for 3rd and 4th place. The Rams played a great game on Saturday but ended up losing to Haxtun to take 4th place.
Akron HS Wrestlers Compete at Bob Smith Invitational in Wray
The Ram wrestlers traveled to Wray on Saturday to participate in their invitational. There was very tough competition at the tournament but the entire team showed much improvement. Merek Charney came home with 3rd place and Kaleb Grauer took 6th.
On Tuesday, December 19 the Akron Rams took on Arickaree in some sub varsity court time. The girls game went into double overtime but we were able to battle to victory 30 - 28. The boys also played a great game and claimed the win with a score of 37-33.
