Google Apps for Educators

Are you interested some technology professional development around Google Apps for Education and Chromebooks?

Please take this SURVEY and provide us with some information so we can tailor some of your professional development.

Below are a series of workshops that could be offered after school, online or during summer academy.

Participants in this workshop will get a refresher/introduction to Google, the Chrome browser and the most utilized features of Google. Participants will be introduced to Drive, Docs, and Slides with the basic how-to's in their use.

Participants in the workshop will have the opportunity learn more about the features of Google Drive and using with Google Classroom. Learn how to create a class, post assignments and collaborate on student work. You will also learn the Google Classroom mobile app and how easy it is to access your class.

Learn more about the Chromebooks, Extensions and Add-on's to use in your classroom.

Examples of basic screencasting techniques will be explored to help plan for flipped classroom lessons along with recording video. Additional add-on's to support content area will be reviewed.

Learn to use Google Survey's to collect feedback and information from students, along with data. Add-on to work with surveys, such as Flubaroo and help you quickly assess student work and streamline grading.

Explore a variety of ways to using Google Apps when creating or enhancing lessons when integrating technology. The SAMR model will help guide your instruction when using Google Apps for Education in the classroom.
