From Mrs. Hubbard, Principal
Our Governor Winslow School community celebrated the 100th day of school this week. From kindergarten to grade five, teachers planned creative projects and math activities highlighting skills acquired during our first one hundred days of school. At our school-wide Monday Morning Meeting on this special day, the whole school community sang the 100 Day Song together under the direction of Mrs. Morris. The remaining eighty days of school are academically challenging and quite eventful. Your continued support with punctuality, attendance, and homework assignments during this busy time of year is greatly appreciated.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Taking A Closer Look At Anxiety
Anxiety is increasing among school aged children and often goes misunderstood or unnoticed. It can impact a student’s ability to perform optimally in the school and community environment. To support students with anxiety, we need to understand it ourselves. During this workshop you will learn about the different types of anxiety, how they impact a child’s performance and useful strategies to use and consider when raising a child with anxiety.
The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session and light refreshments.
* If you require an interpreter, please note it on your registration no later than 2/12/2024
