A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
What an exciting week! Mrs. Reed and Mrs. Michaud have worked very hard on getting everything ready for the concert tonight. Besides instructing students on learning their music and movements, materials like drums, the sound system, and other props need to be brought to and set up at PES. They both put in a great deal of extra time making sure that everything is just right, and I'm sure you'll notice it at the show.
We had a successful rehearsal on Tuesday, and the students sounded wonderful. Things are set and ready to go. All we need is YOU, our audience. Please remember that students are to go to their classrooms no earlier than 5:45, as teachers will not be available to supervise.
Sadly, due to family obligations, I will not be at the concert tonight. It's very disappointing, because this is one of the PES events that I adore. I love seeing the students all dressed up and eager to perform for their families. I will be thinking of everyone and am eager to hear all about the show.
WEATHER RELATED NOTE
- Snow days and 2-hour delays are communicated to primary and secondary guardians via an automated phone call. This information is also posted on our school and district websites on the morning of the weather event, as well as on the morning news on channels 6, 8, 13, and Bath Community TV. In addition to TV and our website, you can hear school cancellation updates on the radio via WCME 99.5 FM.
- Remember that on days where there is a 2-hour delay for students in grades K-12: there will not be any Pre-K. Buses will make their rounds and be at bus stops 2 hours later those mornings, and students should plan on arriving to school between 10:20 - 10:30am.
