HMS Entrepreneurship invites you to our student pop-up marketplace on February 27 from 6:00pm - 7:30pm! At this marketplace, student entrepreneurial teams will be selling a variety of products they have spent the year developing - including candles, soap, keychains, bracelets, seat cushions, and more! Hey Hawks! We've got talent, and we are ready to showcase our stars! Please join us on Thursday, February 22, at 7:00 pm in the HMS Cafeteria for a night of singing, dancing and more! The Henry Middle School All-School Talent Show is sponsored by the HMS Theatre Department and benefits the theatre programs. Tickets are on sale now, or you can purchase them at the door! Attention 6-7th Grade Parents:

The AVID enrollment process for the 2024-2025 school year has begun!

AVID Stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination and is a college and career readiness program designed to help students develop the skills needed to be successful in their college and future careers. AVID is not an intervention, or remedial course; rather, it is a course to fast-track students to advanced courses and is especially beneficial for students who have not previously been in advanced courses. Early College High School (ECHS) Information

ECHS officially kicked off in the fall of 2022 and is now welcoming applications for incoming freshmen for the 2024-25 academic year. Our campus is all about fostering a small learning community – think of a place where academic rigor meets high expectations. Oh, and did we mention we're the only high school in LISD where you can snag up to 60 college credits without spending a dime? No tuition, no textbooks – it's completely free for families. Student Checkout Procedures

Please be sure to bring proper identification in order to check your child out from school prior to the end of the school day. Once we have verified your identity, we will send a pass for the student to meet you at the front office.

Please note:

  • This process could take approximately up to 15 minutes, depending on the time of day. Please be sure to allow extra time for delays should they occur.
  • We cannot have your child waiting for you in the office prior to your arrival.
  • Please try to arrive prior to 4:05 PM if you are checking out at the end of the day. Due to time constraints we may not be able to get your student checked out prior to the 4:20 PM bell.
