It is the goal of RJHS teachers and staff to keep student grades updated weekly for parents and guardians to stay aware of their child's/ children's progress throughout the semester. If you are having trouble accessing HAC (Home Access Center) you can email Jennifer Roberts for help with login credentials.

Students that maintain an 80% average over the 3rd and 4th 9 weeks, have the option to be exempt from their semester exam. Attendance does not matter as far as exemptions go.

Students are welcome to take their exam if they would like to improve their grade. If a student is exempt and attempts to take the semester exam and they do not do well, it will not count against them.

Whirlwind Theatre will start rehearsals this Tuesday, January 24 and Thursday, January 26 from 3:20-4:30 for script read through in Mrs. Taylor's room.

Is your student interested in being an elementary, middle, or high school teacher? Do they want to be a football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, softball, or soccer coach? Do they want to direct the band or choir? How about being a theater director? Do they want to work with students in an RSD classroom next year? If they are interested in any career in education, they can consider taking Introduction to Education through the Educators Rising program at RHS next year. There will be an informational meeting during Advisory on Tuesday, January 24th in the RJHS cafeteria.

Students are welcome to invite their parents/guardians to come and eat lunch with them. Parents/Guardians must bring their photo ID and check in with the office to get a visitor pass, before going down to the cafeteria to eat with their child.

8th grade lunch starts at 11:11am

9th grade lunch starts at 12:04pm

Our wonderful PTO helps teachers and staff during various events each semester. They help with things like awards ceremonies, chaperoning dances, and meals for teachers during conferences. They always need volunteers to help make these events successful. If you would like to help out and become a PTO volunteer you can email Kristy Freyaldenhoven, the RJHS PTO Volunteer Coordinator.
