In Our Catholic Faith: LENT
Ash Wednesday Marks the Beginning of Lent
Staff Are Wearing Jeans?
They sure are! And with honour!
Throughout Lent, staff are purposely and intentionally wearing jeans to donate funds to Lurana House with Catholic Social Services. Each day they wear jeans, they donate $2 to this amazing charity. When we choose to wear "Jeans For Jesus" it is a form of prayer. It is also a way of almsgiving.
Throughout Lent, as a team, MCS Staff will
Pray & Give.
Want to participate in Jeans for Jesus? Please reach out to your child's teacher.
Valentine's Day
We will be celebrating Valentine's Day on February 13 to honour the beginning of Lent on Ash Wednesday.
