Ohio Graduation Plans
On Thursday November 10th, all high school students will participate in a lesson focused on graduation requirements in their 5th period class (or 5th and 6th at the Emerald Campus). During this time, students will review the new graduation requirements and the pathway options to earning a high school diploma.
To earn a Dublin City Schools high school diploma, students are required to do three things:
Earn 21 credits
Meet the competency requirements set by ODE
Demonstrate readiness by earning two graduation seals
During this lesson, students will complete their Ohio Graduation Plan in SchooLinks. Schoolinks is our district’s college and career readiness platform for students in grades 6-12. Parents will receive access to SchooLinks over the next few weeks to review their child’s graduation plan. Students are able to update their Ohio Graduation Plan, specifically their graduation seal interest, at any time. Detailed information about seals can be found here. Students who are absent during this period will receive this information through SchooLinks. Additional information about graduation requirements can be found here.
