Fresh Air Project

Our purpose for this project is to make our school a better environment to be in. We want to make a difference in our school so that we can be healthier, and live longer lives. Our purpose is to Go Green and we will start here and make a change for our school.

The problem with the air in our school is that it's not as clean as it should be. So we looking for reasons why this might be, and came to find out that dust plays a big factor in this. We're 11th grade students at Science Leadership Academy at Beeber. This project was inspired by wanting to make our school a better place. Our school has recently opened, but we moved into an older school building which is Beeber junior high school so the building is not new just the SLA part is. So then a question came up. We began to ask our self's, How can we be able to breathe healthier air even if it's no way to stop the dust in the school completely?.. And that's how we came to our solution and reasoning for my project. We're going to attempt to design a device that can clean the air. Although some of these devices exist we're going to attempt to incorporate all of strengths of these devices into one.

Our solution is to create and air cleaning device . This will affect the air and the environment in a positive way.The device will make the air cleaner and also the environment green .This will also play a big factor in helping the students with asthma also.

The air around our school is not as clean as it should be.Therefore I would like to help clean it. We will go about cleaning the air by using the device we create and see if this could make an improvement .
