Solid Rock

at atelier Fiberfusing near Amsterdam in the Netherlands. In this workshop you will make in one day a solid rock from different kind of wools. You don't need any experience with felting, only some faith, strenght and muscles. The tutor will donate all her fee to a project in Zambia, one more reason to join the workshop!

A bold and sturdy footstool with a soft cover

A whole day long working with hands, loads of wool and soft soap. You choose your own rocky colours and the colour of the lines. While working you create your shape. The weight will be totaly 3kg and the size about 40x40 cm. You will bring home a firm felted rock, which will beautiful decorate your home and which is usefull as a pillow or to lay day your feet after a hard day working. We will take care for the wool materials.

Jacqueline lives and runs a B&B in Drenthe, the Netherlands. Working with raw wool and soft merinowool offers Jacquelien tremendous possibilities to make something beautiful for her shop Goedvilt in the Nehterlands. Every pennie she earns goes for 100% to LIFE BEGINS in Zambia, a project in one of the poorest areas of Livingstone. Begin 2012 she has worked to raise a babycare-centre, which is an ongoing project. With giving workshops she also supports this project.

All workshops are being teached in Dutch and/or English. We will serve fresh coffee and homemade lunches, with healthy salades, warm dishes, farmers bread and several Dutch cheeses. This workshop is just 1 day before the workshop with Kate Ramsey, so it could be a good reason to combine these two..
