Ongoing Scholarship information:

Listed below are some scholarship search engines sites that I have reviewed (albeit briefly). There are tons of information in all of them. Check them out. There are so many different ways to find money. You just have to be willing to put in the time.


One thing you should do before applying to scholarships is setting up an independent email account, just for scholarship information. Once you start applying to different websites, you will get lots of emails from them. Having an independent email account, just for scholarships, will help keep your personal and/or school accounts from getting cluttered.

In case you didn't know, NOVA offers a lot of scholarships. The window deadlines vary. Many that show up right at this moment will show that the window has closed. Check back frequently as once the new school year starts those will open up once again: https://nvcc.academicworks.com/opportunities


Unigo.com https://www.unigo.com/ . If you go about three-quarters of the way down the page, you will see different ways that you can search. Just explore and check things out.

Fallen Patriots - Information for Military Families
There are many different scholarship opportunities. You have to check to see what you are eligible for and when the deadlines are, as they vary.

Applications for 2023 are now closed. No longer available to apply this year.
The Gates Scholarship
Applications for 2023 are now closed.
Hispanic Scholarship Fund
The application deadline for this scholarship is now closed.
The Jackie Robinson Foundation
The application deadline for this scholarship is now closed.
The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation
The applications for this scholarship are now closed. It will open again January 1, 2024.
Ron Brown Scholar Program
The scholarship window for this award closed in January 2023. No longer open to apply.
Society of Women Engineers (SWE)
Students who identify as a female/woman and are pursuing an ABET-accredited bachelor or graduate student program for careers in engineering, engineering technology and computer science. This application is now closed.

College Board Scholarships - Deadlines Vary

College Board Opportunity Scholarships - Open to graduating Seniors of 2022-2023 school year. Complete key steps along your path to college for a chance to earn scholarships. This process begins by Building Your College List. See the link: https://opportunity.collectboard.org/. The more effort you put in, the more opportunities to earn a scholarship. Complete all six, and you’re eligible to earn $40,000. Scholarships will be awarded through monthly drawings to students who complete each action. More opportunities are available through the website.
