With one more week until Spring Break, our students and staff are still learning with and from one another. Some of our 8th graders are taking the Arrowhead Spanish placement test on Tuesday while all 8th graders will take the Social Studies portion of the Forward Exam on Thursday. Other learning experiences, including individual and group work as well as quizzes and tests will be occurring for all grade levels. Even though it's the week before Spring Break, it's the last week of the third quarter and learning as usual.

The cast, crew, and directors of our Spring musical, Mary Poppins Jr. have been working hard to prepare for their performances. The shows will be on Thursday, April 11th at 7PM, Friday, April 12th at 7PM, and Saturday, April 13th at 2PM and 7PM. Ticket prices are $8 or $6 for students and senior citizens. TRI 4 SCHOOLS is a triathlon program designed for 1st-8th graders. The signup started on Tuesday, March 5th and will close on Saturday, March 30th. Below is a link with more information.

Merton Intermediate School will be hosting a half day career event on Friday, April 26, 2019. The event will take place between 8:30 - 11:30 at Merton Intermediate School. We are seeking professionals to participate in either of the following options that day:

1. Speaking to students during 25 minute sessions about your career and highlighting the opportunities of your career field or company

2. Conducting Mock-Interviews with 6th - 8th grade students using provided questions.

We are hoping to give students an opportunity to explore a wide variety of career fields, so please consider sharing your time and expertise with our students!
