This year we will be having two rounds of state testing--one for last school year and one for this school year. 2020-21 testing was postponed from the spring due to the variety of limitations imposed at that time. View Ridge Students will be taking the tests for last school year the mornings of October 25 and 26. This fall's assessment will cover ELA and Math, but not science. The assessment will be a shortened version of what we have done in the past. We will also have stesting for this school year in the spring.

The Ridge is excited to host our BiZi Farm Corn Maze Family Fun night again this year!!! Mark your calendars and save the date, Tuesday, October 19th from 6:30-8:30pm. This is not a drop off event and all unvaccinated individuals must wear masks (even outdoors in the maze). Please be mindful that students are not supposed to be using their phones during the school day, so relying on their devices as modes of communication during that time encourages them to violate school policy. If you need to get a message to your student that is time-sensitive, the office can assist in getting it to them or having them down to call you.

The Ridge is also gearing up for our annual poinsettia fundraiser which helps provide grants for both schools. Check out the attached flyer for details. Orders can be placed online through this form with Paypal payments, or using the attached paper order form for cash/check payments. All payments must be received by November 1st and pick up will be on Dec 1st. All students who sell $200 or more will be entered to win a $50 Amazon gift card and multiple winners will be drawn!

This fall View Ridge will be conducting conferences a little later than in previous years. We feel this gives us a better opportunity to gather more information and allow students to prepare to share what they have learned in these conferences. Conferences will be scheduled by appointment (details are coming) on the evening of November 18 and the afternoon and evening of November 22. We will be releasing students early to accomodate these times on November 22 and 23.

Bell Studios will be back for picture retakes. If your student was not in attendance for our first picture day, they may take them at this time as well.
