SCHS PTO

Our next monthly meeting will take place on Tuesday, April 11th, at 5 p.m. in the Staff Lounge. Please note that our April meeting will be on the second, not first Tuesday,m of the month due to Spring Break. If you are unable to attend in person, drop in via Zoom. Don't be shy...join us to find out what's happening at SCHS and to learn how you can get involved with PTO, especially if you might be interested in holding a PTO Board position next year. We are still looking for individuals to round out our team.

CLASS OF 2023

Seniors - We have a few more tickets left for Grad Nite! If you missed the opportunity to purchase a ticket earlier this month, you still have time. We are very excited to offer SCHS's Class of 2023 the opportunity to attend Grad Nite at Disneyland on June 9th. Contact pto@schscougars.org ASAP to purchase Ticket Option A, which includes a Disney Park Hopper ticket, admission to the after hours Grad Nite Party in California Adventure, and transportation via school bus to and from the event. The US Army is having a Flight & Gaming Simulator Trailer event on Tuesday, March 21. It'll be on campus in the school parking lot and will be available to students during lunch. All students are welcome and encouraged to participate in virtual simulations, they can learn about equipment used by service members and interact with gaming material.

Are you interested in manufacturing or engineering professions? Sign up for our Jewelry/Metalsmithing CAD CTE Pathway where you learn fabrication skills and Computer Assisted Design CAD which are skills used in manufacturing and engineering.

Do you like building things? Do you want to enter the construction field? Learn construction designing techniques/skills and building techniques in our Stage Tech CTE Pathway.

Do you dream of being an actor or actress or do you just want to learn to be more confident and express yourself? Take our award winning CTE Theatre pathway.

We have many more pathways where you can learn about a particular profession. Gain skills and knowledge while learning what profession is right for you.

We have the following pathways: Criminal Justice, Media Production/film, Sports Medicine, Animation and Graphic design. When choosing classes for next year please consider taking one of our amazing pathways.

Aun hay tiempo para participar en los Talleres para padres completamente en español en Steele Canyon a las 9:30 a.m. en persona y 6 pm. atraves de Zoom. todos los martes.

Acompañenos a nuestro taller Socio Emocional los martes a las 9:30 a.m. en el Staff Lounge donde aprendara estrategias para apoyar a su estudiante con sus emociones, confianza en si mismos y como guiar a su estudiante a tomar decisiones responsables.

En el taller Acceso Auna Educacion Superior a las 6pm atraves de zoom aprendera sobre los requisitos de graduacion y de admision a la universidad, ayuda financiera para el colegio/universidad y mas.

Parents, students, friends and family were thrilled to attend the exhibit and teachers were proud to show off their students' fine work. A estimated 100 people attended the Friday night event and it looked spectacular! Here are a few photos!
