I cannot wait to welcome our staff and families back into the building this week! Please mark your calendar for Meet The Teacher, this Thursday, July 27th, 12-6 pm by appointment only.

If you have not signed-up for a Meet The Teacher time, please plan to do so before Thursday. All homeroom teachers are linked below. Click on the link to sign up for a time.

After a busy week registering and rostering new students, we hope to have all rosters finalized by the beginning of this week. If you are new to Hagood, or you do not know your child's homeroom teacher, you should receive a call from our staff on Monday. If you do not, please call the school on Tuesday so that we can assist.

SDPC ONLINE REGISTRATION is now available.

The registration site (blue button linked below) MUST be completed before coming to Meet the Teacher. Those who attend Meet the Teacher without previously completing registration and updates on FinalForms will be asked to complete it on Meet the Teacher before meeting your child's teacher. This includes the New Student, Back to School, and Express Update sites.

Parents, please sign up for a 10-minute timeslot to meet your child's teacher(s). We will begin at 12:00 pm and end at 6:00 pm. Links are listed by homeroom teacher below.

Upon arrival at Meet The Teacher parents will receive a list of stations to complete as needed throughout the school, including:

• Classroom Visits
• Technology Fee ($25 paid through My School Bucks)
• Medication Drop-off/Nurse's Office
• Transportation (Car and/or Bus)
• After School Care Registration
• Join PTO (PTO will also have t-shirts for sale, $20 cash or check)
• Extracurricular Opportunities
• Popsicles with the Principal

Reminders for Our New School Year:

• New medication forms must be submitted each school year and signed by the doctor and parent for prescription medications. All medication forms can be found on the school district's website. https://www.pickens.k12.sc.us/

• If your student takes medication at lunch and not at a certain time, please have the doctor write "lunch" in the time area of the medication form due to varying lunch times.

• Medication must be taken as the bottle states. If a doctor prescribes a medication that is taken differently than the bottle states, the doctor must sign the medication form, and the pharmacy must apply a medication label to the bottle.

• Please remember that only a month's supply (20 days school days) can be dropped off to keep in the health room.
