Library Survey
Do you remember the Library survey you took last month? A lot of helpful information was gathered and here are a few things we will be doing with that information.
- Book recommendations: We love all of the recommendations students and staff submitted. Many of the books that were recommended we already have but there are more we will be adding to our future order list. Some recommendations we may not be able to add to our library, however, I am happy to help you check with the Omro Public Library or other digital reading resources to find what you are looking for. This is where a Public Library Card will come in handy...
- Public Library Card: Of the students and staff who took the survey, 66% replied that they do not have a Public Library card. That is over half of our Middle and High School Students! The good news is that we are working with our friends over at Carter Memorial Library here in Omro to get library cards into the hands of our students who do not have one. Stay tuned for more information on how you can get a Public Library card!
- Library Activities & Events: A lot of fantastic ideas came through for future activities and events in our school library. Watch the monthly Library Media Center Newsletter and school announcements for new and exciting activities that will be taking place in our school library.
At any point you have more book recommendations or ideas for our school library, please share them with Mrs. Gee. agee@omro.k12.wi.us
Thank you for your feedback!

Renew or Return Overdue Library Books
The start of the New Year is a great time to check your locker and at home for any overdue library books. We do not have late fees, but if your library books are lost you will be charged the replacement cost at the end of the school year. Check the due date slip found inside on the last page of your book. The most recent date is when your book is due.
Check your My Info section in Destiny to see if you have any overdue books or ask Mrs. Gee.
