Flash Updates
Dear FTCSC Parents,
Franklin Township Community School Corporation will hold an eLearning Day for students and a professional development day for staff on Tuesday, November 19th. While this day was not originally scheduled as an eLearning Day, we hope that we are providing you with enough time to plan for the change. Last year, FTCSC implemented eLearning Day. An eLearning Day allows a student to continue their education remotely. Please remember that you can find all the information you need in regards to an eLearning Day at our website https://ftcsc.org/academic-department/elearning-days/. Teachers and schools will be providing more information about the Tuesday, November 19th eLearning Day over the next week and a half. If you have any questions on Tuesday, please contact the main office of your child's school. There will be staff available to assist you.
Tuesday, November 19th is the start of the 2020 Legislative Session. It is also a "RED For Ed" Action Day. On Tuesday, November 19th many educators, support staff, administrators, parents and community members from all over Indiana will be holding a rally at the Statehouse in support of and to advocate for public education. We are proud of our amazing FTCSC educators and we support their decision to exercise their right to advocate for public education. We support RED (Republicans, Educators, and Democrats) working together to better public education. You can learn more about RED For Ed Action Day by visiting the following ISTA website https://www.ista-in.org/invest-in-education.
We thank you in advance for your support of our staff and public education!
Sincerely,
FTCSC Central Office Admin Team

ASVAB and ILEARN Scores
ILEARN Biology Scores and ASVAB Scores have arrived and are available in Infinite Campus.
There have been many questions about how to view these scores. You must access IC using the web interface rather than your parent app to see assessment scores. Go to the Black menu bar on the left-hand side of the screen. Select "More", then "Assessments". ASVAB should be at the top of your screen and ILEARN at the bottom.

These documents must be updated each school year. They are provided electronically as a part of the online registration process for both existing students and new enrollments and should be completed prior to the start of the school year. Students must have a consent to treat signed by a parent or guardian to be seen in the school nurse clinic. All students will be treated in the case of an emergency.
NEW Immunization Requirements for 2020-2021
Dear parents/guardians,
Attached are the new Immunization Requirements for the 2020-2021 School Year. There has been a change. All students K-12 will now need 2 doses of the Hepatitis A vaccine with at least 6 months between the doses. We wanted to make you aware of these changes. Seniors still are required to have the booster dose (#2 MCV4 or Menactra) meningitis vaccine as well. Please check your child’s shot record and contact your provider to schedule appointments. A good time to receive updated vaccinations is over breaks so school is not missed.
To find a clinic that is administering immunizations, please contact the Marion County Health Department at 317-221-5700 to schedule an appointment or to find out about their same day services. Community Clinic at Walgreens may also have some immunizations available. To find a Community Clinic at Walgreens near you, please call 1-855-626-7761.
Lastly, attached is information regarding the flu, covering your cough, and handwashing. By simply covering your cough and adhering to good hand hygiene, this minimizes the spreading of these germs.

Attendance Office - 317-803-5655
Students that are leaving early will need to bring a note, signed by the guardian, to either the Attendance Office or the FA office before school to get their pass to leave or be picked up.
You must leave a message on the attendance line regarding your students absence even if you spoke to a teacher, nurse, guidance counselor, etc.
Students are not released to someone "on the list" unless we get the approval from the guardian for that specific instance.
If you have already given your student permission to leave ill, please call the attendance line and a pass will be sent for your student to leave. Do not send your student to the clinic if you have already told them they can leave or are being picked up sick.
The person picking up the student must come into the school with a valid ID
