Hello, 9th + 10th Grade Families!
It's time for another Coffee with Counselor + AP. Join me and Mr. Conde next Friday, October 27th at 7am for a virtual cup of coffee while we update you on what's happening in the building and respond to your questions and concerns. PSAT/NMSQT
On Wednesday, October 25, 2023 we will give the PSAT 8/9 to all 9th graders, and the PSAT/NMSQT to all 10th and 11th graders. Classes will be on a modified schedule. Please check your email for class schedule times.
SGA PRESENTS - SPIRIT WEEK!
Please adhere to the following days of dress down for the week of October 23rd-27th. A Pep Rally will be held on Friday, October 27th for students and staff. Reminders will be given during the morning and afternoon announcements.

Scholarships
Louis Stokes Scholarship Program
The Louis Stokes Scholarship Program offers tuition assistance, an annual salary and full-time benefits to high school seniors, college freshmen, and sophomores pursuing a 4-year degree. Upon receiving their undergraduate degree, a Stokes intern is guaranteed DIA employment in their selected career field. Refer applicants to https://diajobs.dia.mil/. We had a very informative PTSO meeting earlier this week. Thank you to all the Students and Parents who attended.

From live organisms to prepared slides, students were able to see things from insects to cells! How fun!
Ms. Coholic's BioGeoChem Class
Ms. Coholic's BioGeoChem class will continue this week with wave propagation in preparation for the Formation of the Solar System unit. We will continue to sharpen our science/math skills as well as grade-level literacy.
Please encourage students to study over their notes for 5 to 10 minutes daily to reinforce what was learned in class that day.
