OHS Senior Newsletter
updated every week, and other times as needed
Senior Informaton
Welcome to our 20-21 OHS Senior Newsletter. I will send this out periodically to seniors and their parents to discuss college, financial aid, scholarships, etc., as well as provide information about events specifically for seniors throughout the school year. I will also do my best to post deadlines here as well, but seniors, remember it is ultimately your responsibility to meet deadlines and obligations
FAFSA Opened October 1st
Please begin working on your FAFSA even if you have not made your college decision yet.
College Applications
Go to ApplyTexas.org to complete your Texas college applications. I am here to help. I would like everyone to have their applications in before Christmas break!
Senior Night & Senior Bonfire
Senior Night is November 6th before the Calvert football game. We will also have a senior bonfire this year on the evening Thursday, November 5th. More details to follow.
FINANCIAL AID & SCHOLARSHIPS
Do Your Part!
As I said on Senior Information Night, financial aid and scholarships are very important. Please begin working on your FAFSA. In addition, I am about to starting handing out and emailing more scholarship applications. If you meet the requirements, please put forth the effort to complete all scholarships. This is money that you do not have to pay back and will ease the financial burden on you and your parents in having to take out few, if any, student loans.
