Dear ECC Families & Community,

Can you believe Labor Day weekend is already here? We've had a great start to the 20-21 school year. Thank you for everything you are doing to support our efforts to maintain a healthy environment at ECC. This week we continued our learning of CORE by focusing on the letter O for order. When we talk about order at the preschool level, we focus on following the rules. See the document below for more about our focus on order.

We use the Zones of Regulation at ECC to help children identify how they are feeling and some tools they can use to make themselves feel better (self-regulation). Mrs. Cadwell's class has been busy learning about the Zones of Regulation. As they discussed each zone (green, yellow, blue, red), children drew pictures of things that made them feel that way. They did a great job!

Would you like to learn more about the Zones of Regulation? Ask your child's teacher to share information with you.

If you know someone searching for a quality preschool program, send them to the Warren Early Childhood Center! We have spaces currently available for half day and full day classes. We also accept On My Way and CCDF vouchers. Registration appointments can be made by calling Mary Crabtree in the ECC office, 317-869-4750.

In order for our schools to be in compliance with the state laws regarding immunizations, please make sure that your student(s) have their updated information on file with your school's nursing staff. All student vaccines must be on file and up to date by September 21, 2020 to avoid exclusion. Please make your school's nursing staff aware of any upcoming appointments for vaccines, or if there are any medical or religious objections to your student receiving his or her vaccines

Also, PLEASE inform your school's nurse of any chronic health conditions that the school should be made aware of, and that your student's medical emergency information is up to date.

Session Times for the 20-21 school year are as follows:

Half Day Morning 8:50 to 11:50 a.m.

Half Day Afternoon 12:55 to 3:55 p.m.

Full Day 9:20 to 3:20 p.m.

Child Care 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

If you arrive after the car line has concluded, you will need to park your car and check your child in with the front office.

AM Half Day- Car line closes at 9:00 a.m.

PM Half Day- Car line closes at 1:00 p.m.

Full Day- All car lines, Orange, Pink & Yellow, close at 9:30 a.m.

Thank you for having your car sign displayed for dismissal. It's makes the car line move much quicker. Don't forget to have your ID ready to present to staff when asked.
