Green JHS Weekly Bulletin for August 23rd
Principal's Message
Dear E.O. GREEN Staff, Parents and Guardians,
Staff, students and families welcome back to the new school year 2021-2022. It is an honor to have the opportunity to continue collaborating with the GREEN staff to provide students a rich academic and social-emotional program. The outstanding E.O. Green staff is eager to meet the 2021-2022 students and work alongside you as partners to ensure the child experiences success.
Together with the fantastic teachers, counselors, support staff, and assistant principals, we will continue to work hard to reach the legacy of student success established by the HESD. Last year, most of our instructional program was mainly provided remotely; therefore, we missed the personal interactions. We understand the importance of building solid relationships with parents, students, and community partners. GREEN's primary goal is to inspire and empower all students to thrive every day and become avid learners.

-The first full day of instruction is Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, classes are from 8:00 -2:30 on Mon., Tues., Thurs. and Fri.

As the Principal, it is vital that during this pandemic everyone who steps through our doors (staff, students, parents/guardians, and community members) is excited about what is happening at GREEN! This animated attitude after this pandemic empowers us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment. At GREEN, we have an OPEN DOOR policy and welcome your input. Please feel free to call or email to discuss any concerns you might have throughout the school year.
We look forward to working together to support the success of our Hornets!
Sincerely,
Irma Melgoza-Vasquez
