Orchard Valley is a top spot for cyclists. Oakville Grade Loop is an Amgen Tour favorite and destination for cyclists worldwide. Our favorite route is starting at Alston Park and breaking at Bouchon Bakery before heading home.

Best Dog Paradise

Alston Park, located in Orchard Valley off Dry Creek Road, is is everyone's favorite dog park. Dog lovers can choose from two hiking paths and opt for an on leash or off leash experience. Beautiful grassland, old oak and orchard views make Alston Park a destination for avid runners too.

Practical Perfection

Anyone who has had a suddenly sick kiddo or spouse knows how important it is to be able to get to a pharmacy (or, please no, a hospital) quickly. We love Orchard Valley for its excellent practicalities that make living and vacationing there stress free.

Bel Aire Plaza has the best shopping in the North Bay. Favorite "must haves" like Target, TJ's, Whole Foods and specialty stores like family friendly Copperfield's bookstore- have earned Bel Aire its "Best Shopping" title from Napa and Sonoma residents.

Best School

Blue Oak School is a remarkable K-8 school minutes from Orchard Valley. Blue Oak's award winning teachers and cutting edge curriculum offer an excellent education year round. The summer program is exciting and diverse and is open to student's not enrolled in Blue Oak.

Spectacular Wine Production

The secret prize of Orchard Valley is the remarkable micro climate that allows growing boutique, specialty grapes for rare vintages of wine. All along Dry Creek Rd and Orchard Ave small vineyards thrive. A great example of a unique wine produced from this special area is Vare Ribolla Gialla - served at both Thomas Keller's French Laundry and Per Se in New York. It's inspired a dedicated following and introduced California wine lovers to this remarkable varietal. A lovely, absolutely Napa Valley, hallmark. Update 4/3: Yee!
