A note from Mrs. Bowden

I have enjoyed getting to know students and families. Thank you for your continued support and helping to maintain a high standard for our school community. A few reminders that will ensure that this year will be a success!



  • Students are to keep their cell phones in their backpacks during class time and passing periods.
  • Trust card and Student ID are to be visible and worn at all times. This is part of their uniform and for security.
  • School starts at 8:00am, students need to be in their seats at this time.


I am reemphasizing the importance of the Parent-Student Handbook (Student Code of Conduct) to students and to you. This is part of registration and is posted on our website. The Parent-Student Handbook is what we follow at LPS and what makes our school great. A copy is always on our website.


Also, Homecoming Week is getting closer and I cannot wait to see our students share their school spirit.
