Happy Friday. We had a busy week at CTMS. Students and staff enjoyed their last club day this past Wednesday. Wednesday was also Administrative Assistants Day - we'd like to thank Mrs. Godfrey, Mrs. Armel, Ms. Turner, and Mrs. Hill for their daily support of CTMS. -- We'd be lost without them!

Reminder, if your 7th or 8th grader has not turned their money in for the field trip, please do so ASAP to Mrs. Burkhart.

May is looking to be busier than any other time of the year. We have a lot of events happening in the weeks to come, please make sure you check the important dates below and join us when you can. **Don't forget to thank your teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week -- May 8-May 12**

GSA testing will begin Monday, May 8th and end Friday, May 12. Please ensure that students get a good nights rest, have a nutritious breakfast, and are prepared for the test. If you would like to send testing positive note of encouragement the week of testing, please use the form below to submit the message. Administration will ensure your child receives the message on a note in the morning prior to testing.

Reminder:

The Spring Fling dance is for CTMS students ONLY. Students who are not enrolled at CTMS are not permitted to attend the dance.

Students receiving any OSS discipline AFTER 4/28/2023 or who receive a referral the week of the dance are not permitted to attend the dance.

Drop off begins at 5:50 PM. We do ask that parents are at the school promptly at 8:00 PM to pick up their student (s).

Formal attire is NOT required. Admission is $5.00; Refreshments/Concessions will be sold in the cafeteria.

For the first time ever, CTMS qualified a team for the West Virginia State History Bowl Competition. Mr. Moody and the CTMS team traveled to Charleston this week to compete at the state tournament. Our Panthers placed 4th in the state!! We are super proud of this students and the knowledge of the great state of West Virginia they possess.

Caitlyn Moody was named to the All-Star History Bowl Team!
