Hello Parents and Guardians of Kewaunee Middle School!

January has flown by and we are getting ready for busy month of February.

We celebrated the end of the first semester of classes and have transitioned to new 3rd quarter classes and schedules.

Our 7th and 8th Grade Girls Basketball teams have had a successful start to their season. Keep up the great work! Great job to all players and coaches.

Reminder that we have no school this month on Febraury 16 or 17, 2023.

The Winter Middle School Dance for grades 6-8 took place on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Check out below for some pictures!

Does your student need new school suppplies? February is a great time to check to see if your child needs new pens, pencils, folders, or notebooks to get them through the rest of the school year.

If you in financial need and new supplies, please let the office know. We will do everything we can to help you out!

Congratulations to 8th Grader Ava Wolf and 5th Grader David Sisneros who recently competed in the Kewaunee School District Grades 3-8 Spelling Bee. Ava and David will now advance to the Green Bay Regional Spelling Bee in February. Congrats Ava and David!

Kyler Kubic and Colin Wotachek placed 2nd. They will take the place of Ava and David if they cannot attend.

Students in grade 7 have been participating in the GREAT Program with our School Resource Officer (SRO) Scott Szydel. GREAT Programming is Gang Resistance Education and Training. The GREAT program is intended as an immunization against delinquency, youth violence, and gang membership for children in the years immediately before the prime ages for introduction into gangs and delinquent behavior.

Please write down these important dates and avoid appointments or trips during these planned state assessments.
