We will be hosting Family Literacy Night at Lounsberry Hollow on October 23rd from 6:00 -7:30. Family Literacy Night
There will be an Innovamat parent presentation for the new math program, grades 2-4 on Tuesday, October 24th in the Lounsberry Hollow gym 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Please click here to RSVP so we know how much space we need.
The Fall Book Fair will take place next week October 22-26. Linked is a schedule so you know what day your child will be attending the fair. Students will come to the fair one day from their Specials class. Flyers went home with your students and are attached here. Please note that we are required to charge sales tax, so please add that when budgeting with your child. If you would like to set up an e-wallet for your student, you can do so at the Book Fair Website.
We are looking for nominations for our Governor’s Educator of the Year and our Educational Service Professional of the Year. Please use this link to nominate someone at Lounsberry who you would like us to consider.
October 23-27 Red Ribbon Week Red Ribbon Week Events
On November 7th we will be hosting a Veterans’ Appreciation Event at Lounsberry. This short program will allow us to honor our Veterans on Election Day. It will take place from 8:30 - 10:00. If you or an immediate family member would like to participate please complete the survey that went out earlier this week or click here. Please make sure to complete the survey by 10/25/23.
If you are interested in having your 5th grader opt out of the comprehensive health curriculum please enter your information this form. You have plenty of time to complete this so feel free to contact your child’s PE teacher if you have any questions.
We plan to go outside for recess as often as possible. Please be sure your children come to school dressed for the weather.
Please have your child charge the chromebook at night. We have many students coming in looking for chargers each morning.
The Lost and Found by the gym is overflowing. Please have your children look for anything they are missing. This includes lunch boxes, water bottles, and some clothing.
