Kroger Cards Help Generate BIG MONEY for Our School!

Kroger donates 4% of all money you spend after you scan your Kroger Plus card as long as you connect the Plus card to our Longbranch PTA account.

If 400 families connected their cards and spent $100 a week at Kroger, each family would make $4 per week. That's $1600 a week.That's $19,000 a quarter. That's unreal. That's plain and simple easy money.

We encourage you to visit Kroger.com and create an account. Click Community Rewards. Search for Longbranch and connect your plus card with Longbranch PTA. It's the EASIEST fundraiser you'll ever participate in, period.

PTA General Meeting

The first general meeting of the Longbranch PTA will be h

eld on September 13th at 6:30pm in the Commons. Everyone is encouraged to attend to learn more about our PTA. We will also be voting on the PTA Budget for this year.


Popcorn Fridays

If you did not fill out your form at meet the teacher night and your child/children would like to participate in our Popcorn Fridays 9 times this school year please complete the form (click here to download and print). and return it with your child by 8/29/16. $5.00 per child covers all 9 of our popcorn Fridays. The first one will take place this coming Friday September 2nd!

Our W.I.G.s (Wildly Important Goals) for 2016-2017

W.I.G. #1: From 96.8% in attendance daily to 97.3% in attendance daily by October 18, 2016.

We met our goal every day last week but Friday was CLOSE!
    Monday: 98.55%
    Tuesday: 98.8%
    Wednesday: 98.61%
    Thursday: 98.13%
    Friday: 97.7% **eeek!**

W.I.G. #2: From 71.8% of students in grades 2-5 above the 50th percentile of the nation as measured by Star Math to 85% of students in grades 2-5 above the 50th percentile of the nation by April 2017.

Fall Baseline Data:

2nd: 57.2% above 50th percentile

3rd: 75% above 50th percentile

4th: 74.3% above 50th percentile

5th: 78.9% above 50th percentile

Spirit Wear Sales

This year we will offer the same items ALL YEAR. We'll open the online store in September, November, January, and March. Deliveries will be in October, December, February, and April. This allows you 4 times to order this year and spread purchases out throughout the year if you so choose.

The first round of sales begins next week.
