Good Afternoon RMHS Students and Families,
Tomorrow is the big day, start of a new school year! We are all so looking forward to seeing our students in the morning and hearing about all the exciting summer adventures!
All students can now check Plus Portals to locate an individualized schedule for the first 4-days of school. See step by step instructions and photo below. While in Plus Portals following these steps to access the personalized schedule:
1. Click "School" -> "Classroom".
2. In the schedule view, students should choose 2023-4 First Four Days.
3. Click Print Preview to get a printable version.

For tomorrow students simply need to know that the first class is A block, Day 2, or A2. The day rotation is only important if students have a class A block that does not meet every day, like PE or Health, which may only meet A 1, 3, 5 or A 2, 4, 6. If a student's A period class meets every day the Day 2 rotation is not relevant.
All classes will have flex for the first 4-days of school. Students should report to flex and will then be called down for class assemblies, school photos or remain in flex for important start of school information.
Flex assignments may have changed since last year, so I ask all students to double check your teachers and classrooms. Tomorrow grade 9 students will be called from flex to have school photos taken in the fieldhouse, seniors will be called from flex for a class assembly and sophomores and juniors will remain in flex. Thursday the schedule shifts and again next Tuesday and Wednesday, see photo below.
If you did not pick up a school photo order form do not panic. You can order photos online by going to mylifetouch.com and using the RMHS picture day ID, which is EVT2CHCHP6. We also will have additional forms in the main office and in the fieldhouse. All students will have a school photo taken for the purposes of a school ID. ** Seniors have until December to have senior portraits taken as well and can contact Prestige Lifetouch directly to schedule appointments. The company releases appointments monthly, please check with them directly to schedule.
If students did not have a chance to pick up laptops, they will be able to while at school this week. Please make sure that the acceptable use forms are filled out by both the parent and student before students pick up. Students can come in as early as 7 am tomorrow and Thursday morning and pick up laptops in the library from the IT Department.
Also embedded below is the lunch schedule. Teachers will explain to students when they attend lunch. Breakfast and lunch are now free for all students in Massachusetts moving forward, please take advantage of this amazing opportunity. Our cafeteria staff has done an amazing job preparing for the start of the year and look forward to seeing the students once again!
Our Rocket Ambassadors will be out in the hallways throughout the day tomorrow to assist any new students and freshmen while navigating from class to class. Ambassadors will be wearing their t-shirts, so they are easy to identify.
