Dodge-Point Girls Cross Country is your WIAA State Division 2 Team Runner Up! The girls finished behind Champion Appleton Xavier 81-124 Saturday in Wisconsin Rapids. Ellie Robinson was the top DP runner finishing in 3rd, Annie Robinson 12th, Julia Thompson 43rd, Brienna Wasley 68th, Addison Christopher 92nd, Regan Schuette 94th, Grace Wersal 115th. Students enjoyed Construction Career Day at UW-Platteville! This event gives high school students exposure to the different career opportunities within the construction industry. Students experienced hands-on activities, and the opportunity to network with construction professionals and UW-Platteville faculty, students, and alumni.

#PointerNation was proud to welcome six student conductors from CESA 3, including our own Julianna Cool and Libby Dunn, to spend a day perfecting their craft with Mineral Point resident, Dr. Peter Schmalz. An in-depth seminar on music literature and conducting comprised the day. To be selected, students had to be nominated and submit an essay for review.

A big congrats to 4th Grade Teacher Livia Doyle who is one of three educators from Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation District 3 to receive a Wisconsin Ag in the Classroom Program grant this fall! Each of these teachers will receive $500 towards their projects that integrate agriculture education into their curriculum.

Congrats to Superintendent Mitch Wainwright and Communications Director Joelle Doye who had the honor of being selected to present at the recent National Rural Schools Conference in Green Bay. The duo spoke on the importance of communication for rural schools.
