Principal's Message
It is hard to believe we are only three weeks from Spring Break! February was filled with hard work and fun times and was wrapped up with Spirit Week and our Winter/Spring Pep Rally.
As we near the end of the third quarter on Friday, March 11th, I encourage all parents to check their child's progress in each class through PowerSchool ParentPoral. Please feel free to call or email teachers with concerns or questions about quarter three. You may always reach out to your child's school counselor or grade level assistant principal as well.
Finally, I would like to congratulate our Steele students who made the Second Quarter Honor Roll at the Lorain County JVS. I am proud of all the accomplishments of all our students.
Thank you for your continued support.
Go Comets,
Joe Tellier

Scholastic Games Academic Faceoff
Round-by-round lopsided scores evened out to nearly a tied score, as Steele's Academic Challenge team competed on Lorain County’s high school quiz show, the Scholastic Games, on WEOL radio (AM930 and FM 100.3). The program is heard weekly on Mondays from 6-7 p.m. and this week it was bursts of scoring by both teams ending in a close 210 to 200 victory for Avon High School over Amherst.
Steele was represented by D. J. Theisen, Grant Sooy, and John Perez-Strohmeyer.
