Principal's Message

Dear Parent(s),

Beginning this upcoming Friday, students will be signing up for Academic Enrichment. Once per week students will meet Homeroom teachers (Fridays) to discuss progress for that week, they will then email parents and use PowerSchool Flex Plug In to register for support the following week.

Beginning Oct. 17th, Mrs. Bezzola will be joining Ms. DeRoo's Wellness classes. They will be focusing on social conflict and relationship skills.(see attachment below)

Science with Skittles

After learning about pure substances & mixtures as well as reviewing general lab safety practices, students participated in a paper chromatography lab using assorted Skittles.

Petrology - the study of rocks

Science 7 we discussed and explored the properties for identifying rocks and minerals and discussed the 3 different types of rock (igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic) by looking at different rocks and minerals such as mica, gneiss, quartz, and shale.
