Happy December vibes to all our fantastic school community! 🎉 We're diving headfirst into the holiday season, and we couldn't be more excited to share some news and reflections with you in this cheerful newsletter.

First and foremost, a heartfelt appreciation to the Dighton PTO for their invaluable role in organizing events, fundraisers, and diligently handling the distribution of bird buck rewards on Fridays.

As we gear up for December, there's a lineup of events and activities that may pique your interest. Brace yourselves for an unforgettable experience at the Grade 3 & 4 Chorus Concert on the horizon.

Once again, a special thanks to the Dighton PTO and volunteers. Your unconditional efforts significantly contribute to the success of events and fundraisers. Here's to hoping December exceeds expectations.

As we embark on a transformative journey toward digitalization, we are excited to inform you that this year's report cards will be exclusively available in a digital format. Our commitment to embracing technology aims to streamline communication and provide you with easier access to your child's academic progress.

Upon request, a paper copy of the report card will also be made available. However, it is important to note that in addition to the paper copy, the Aspen Family Portal will be the sole source for accessing student report cards this year.

If you have never logged into the Aspen Family Portal, kindly search your personal email address for a message from: aspen-sysadmin@myfollett.com. This email will contain your initial login credentials. For those who have previously accessed the portal but cannot recall their password, please follow these steps for password reset. Once logged in, please follow these steps to access your child's report card.

The school year's first trimester will conclude on December 8th, and we are pleased to announce that report cards will be accessible via the Aspen Family Portal starting from December 15, 2023. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we embrace these advancements for the benefit of our school community.

We are still seeking new, unwrapped, toys and games for children ages five to ten years old to donate to Christmas for Kids. The monetary value of the gift should not exceed $25.00. Your contribution to this cause will help ensure that every child in our community experiences the joy and wonder of the holiday season. Additionally, this initiative not only supports the spirit of giving that is part of our school’s culture, but it is also in direct alignment with the district’s Portrait of a Graduate

If you've ever helped out with this event in the past, you know how much fun it is! If you haven't, we'd love for you to join us this year. This is a big event that the students absolutely LOVE!
