Sunday Message
Week of June 6th - June 8th
Message from Mrs. Reams
Randolph Families,
Thank you for an amazing year! We have been through a lot together in the last two years and I cannot thank you enough for your partnership and support. We truly are one of the best schools in the Commonwealth. We will continue to prioritize the student experience and the well being of our students and staff, as we move forward to a #newnormal next year. Have a wonderful summer!
Week at A Glance
Monday 6/6
- House Day!!! Be sure to wear your house shirts (many teachers have already asked students to bring them to school to ensure everyone has their shirt for Monday) and anything house spirited! We will find out our MP4 winner AND our overall RES winner for the year! Thank you to our volunteers. Similar to our other house days, this is not an open event. Only volunteers will be admitted.
Tuesday 6/7
- 5th Grade Graduation - Currently, we plan to be outside in the bus loop. We will begin at 8:30am. *There is currently a chance of rain on Tuesday. We will make a decision on Monday if we need to move to an alternate location. Our rain plan is to have the ceremony in the cafeteria.
Wednesday 6/8
- Last Day of School! Don't forget to wear your RED, WHITE & BLUE! Buses pull out at 12:30pm and car rider dismissal will begin at 12:30pm.
- Medications in the clinic will need to be picked up by 1:00pm on June 8th. If it is not picked up, the medication will be destroyed, unless specific arrangements are made. Please reach out to Nurse Usry if you have questions.
Students in 3rd-5th grade will keep their iPad over the summer. Students will have access to our various applications that they have used throughout the school year. Please feel free to use them as you see fit. There is no requirement for use. Students are expected to arrive at school with their iPad on the first day of school, August 22nd.
Rising 6th grade students will receive a new iPad in the first few days of school. Rising 6th graders will need to bring their iPad to school in order to exchange it for their new iPad. In addition, families who were issued a Kajeet are to return all Kajeets to the school library. All Kajeets will be turned off over the summer and reissued in the fall.
Any technical assistance needed over the summer please email: techhelp@glnd.k12.va.us
